Empowering Ugandan Youth

Each child in the Hope Builders program receives REMEDIAL TUTORING, QUALITY EDUCAITON AND healthy mealS.

THROUGH THE GENEROSITY OF THEIR SPONSOR, they have the opportunity to PURSUE education through University. Any child who is unable to remain in school due to low academic aptitude is given opportunities to learn trade skills and to connect with opportunities.

Along with their education, they are being taught life skills and how to value themselves and others. They are being taught Gospel truth and that Love overpowers evil.

They are given Hope, a hope that will never fail them, a hope that rests in Jesus Christ.

THROUGH FAITH

Christ is the foundation of everything happening at and through Hope Builders.

We exist only because the Lord allows it and all work, donations, sponsorship, academic success and even the well-being of the children SUCCEED only because the Lord determines it.

We teach the children that through the grace of God we exist and that we depend of the mercy of Jesus for our very breath.

THROUGH VALUABLE SKILLS

Our program participants receive the skills they need at home and in the workplace!

We teach common-sense business, as well as specific skills such as cooking tailoring, animal husbandry, carpentry, gardening and child care.

Right now the children are raising chickens, gardening at the Hope Builders House and they have just planted a field of feed corn for sustainable chicken farming!

through community

We always do our best to purchase items in-country to encourage local commerce and employment for the population we serve.

Here, Ruth is picking out handmade shoes for the children’s school uniform requirements. These leather shoes cost just under $10! It’s a great deal for us and keeps a cobbler working.
