WE HAVE DEVELOPED A SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE PROJECT!

From the moment we received our first MAJOR year-end donation, we knew something amazing was going to happen, and it has! That donation funded tools and construction of two large hen houses in a rural village in Uganda, where our program coordinator lives with several orphans and vulnerable children. Soon after, and our laying chicks arrived! And then a guard dog German Shepherd puppy. The hens WERE THEN fed TO MATURITY from THE SAME generous donation, carefully stewarded!

The children have watched Ruth count coins to buy the feed and have helped mix the feed and maintain a clean area in and around the coups. They see Ruth vaccinate the hens and bring them fresh grass. These hens do not mix with local hens due to illness and infections that cause a lot of death and disease. The resulting eggs (& FERTILIZER) WILL CHANGE lives. The knowledge of how to raise them has already changed lives!

FAMILY FARMING!

growing ‘maize’ is essential for a rural Ugandan to survive and thrive and thanks to a previously donated i-pad, A PERSONAL sponsorship of Ruth (that she uses to buy data and Google for instructional videos), she is teaching herself and the children how to farm!

The corn will be feed for the chickens AND IF ALL GOES WELL, There should be enough left over to sell! Pray for success in this venture!
